Sheephead have shown up in big number here along the gulf coast! These tasty critters have been devouring shrimp and fiddler crabs on knocker rigs or 1/8th oz jig heads. Steady action and delicious too eat! NOT THE SAME SHEEPHEAD THAT ARE UP NORTH. Focusing on our inshore fishing, the reds are still fired up in the river and the shallow creeks. Deep pockets on a low tide and muddy/rocky banks have been holding these fish.
Looking forward to our fishing the next couple weeks and some warmer weather is on the horizon. If you guys are looking to go fishing, book before it’s too late.
